Happy Tuesday loves! I hope every single one of you is having a fantastic start to the week! I just got back from Vancouver, and am heading to New York on Thursday. I cannot wait.

The kimono trend has been around for a while but seems to have gained some serious steam this past S/S 17 season. Now for summer, we've seen a lot of the light silk, printed styles. But they are truly one of the best transition pieces heading into fall.

This one I am wearing here is from Zara and was part of the recent fall drop. It is perfect for the upcoming season with the deep burgundy color and heavier material. I styled mine with my fave pair of distressed cutoffs and a lace cami. As the days get cooler, I will pair this with boyfriend jeans, booties, and a cool graphic tee. It would also look killer over top a light sweater dress. The slits run quite high up the sides,  which I LOVE, makes it flow beautifully as you walk.

Every time I wear these cut offs, I get a ton of compliments and girls asking where I got them. High waisted, distressed denim shorts are tough to find. Even harder to find a pair that fit perfectly. These were actually a vintage pair I purchased from Aritizia a few years back. I would suggest checking out Etsy if you are currently in the market for a pair, as a ton of stores on the site are catered just to making the perfect denim short.
