So I think it's safe to say the velvet trend has completely taken over. You see it on everything from boots to bags to blazers. I was sold on the trend early on; there is just something so luxurious about velvet, and it's so fun to mix with other textures to create a unique and interesting outfit. This suit was perfect for the holiday season, but can also easily be incorporated into any other occasion, any time of year. I love styling the joggers with a fun graphic tee, and a leather moto jacket for a more casual look. Or pairing the blazer with dark denim and a beautiful blouse for my 9 to 5.

I have worn this cropped Free People camisole to death.. it is very 'Monica Rose' (Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadids amazing stylist). It gives off that romantic, lingerie vibe, and is so fun with the rich texture and color of this suit. Again, this is another piece that is way more versatile than you may think. Paired with high-waisted, distressed denim for a more "cool girl vibe." Leather pants and an animal print coat for that sexy, date night. A pair of sweatpant joggers, white sneakers, and an oversized moto jacket for a casual look. The options are seriously endless.

This wrap around necklace/choker from Fallon Jewelry is such a great piece, and can be worn many different ways! I love the 'bling' it added to this look. Fallon is a great line for chokers and is regularly seen on celebrities alike.

Let me know in the comments section how you guys like to rock the velvet trend! xx
