Unfortunately for us Canadians, just because March is right around the corner, does not mean spring has sprung. We can still get winter storms, sometimes right up until May. With this being said, a lot of us get eager and anxious to start pulling out our spring wardrobe, as you get sick of the boot and sweater routine.

I am always looking for ways to incorporate traditionally spring or summer pieces into my winter rotation. The best way to do that, while still keeping warm (key for us), is to layer. This slip dress was heavy in my summer 16' wardrobe, and it worked perfectly layered over top of this tight cashmere turtleneck this winter season. Since it is still chilly, I chose to work within the neutral family, rather than with bright colors.

I have been coveting the Gucci fur slides for a long time now. Still not 100% sure if I can justify the price since they are a trendier piece.

When I saw these Senso ones, I knew I had to have them. They have that "Gucci" vibe to them with the gold grommet hardware. Not to mention they are ridiculously comfortable! Heeled booties would also work well with this look.

The slit in this dress adds just the right amount of sexiness. I would also throw a pair of fishnet stockings on (currently LOVING that trend), as the slit would showcase them perfectly.

These past couple weeks have been pretty crazy, but I hope to get on a regular posting schedule from now on! If you guys have anything, you would like to see more or less of please let me know in the comments section!
